Tears flow before I even start writing the letter. It's still hard to believe that this happened to us. I want to write a letter to myself, who woke up early on the morning of February 24 to the sound of gunshots. You still can't believe that people who falsely call us brothers and sisters, brazenly attacked our country in the morning. Uncertainty and fear overwhelm you. fear for yourself, for your loved ones and for every Ukrainian.

Hopelessness? Absolutely not! In a couple of hours the whole world will know about the strength of the spirit of Ukrainians. We would be admired by the whole world. although you would be forced to leave your home, when you arrive in the UK you will meet real friends. People who will help you and all of Ukraine to cope with this horror.

Here in Lancaster, in the place of your power, you will believe in a miracle. a miracle, which, unfortunately, will have to be paid in human lives, tears and losses. Walking these magical streets, you will believe that good will definitely triumph over evil!
